Why a review here works differently
Search is changing how people decide what to buy. Buyers used to Google a product and click through ten links. Now they ask Google’s AI, ChatGPT, or Perplexity a straight question, like “is this bumper worth it for a GX470?”, and the AI writes the answer on the spot, built from the clearest, most credible independent reviews it can find. A brand’s own product page almost never gets quoted as the proof, because that is advertising. An honest third-party review does.
Compare that to the usual influencer route, which is oversaturated. People scroll right past sponsored Instagram Reels and hit skip on YouTube videos a couple of minutes in, because that content is pushed at people who were not looking for it. A review here works the other way around. It puts your product in front of someone who is actively asking about it, right when they are deciding, in a format that matches their attention: a clear verdict up top if they are scanning, and the full evidence, photos, and FAQ if they are digging in.
And unlike a social post, which is buried in about 48 hours, a review here is a permanent article on my own site. It stays up, it can be updated as your product sees more use, and it keeps being found by buyers and quoted by AI search long after a feed post is gone.
